After an install day at Project Cape Chill, our client turned to us and said how now their second home looks so good, we have to do their primary home. And so we did! The following month we had our kick off meeting to work on their full time home.

Since each home is different, each home has a different vision. Our client’s vision for this home was to have it be nature inspired. Like Project Cape Chill was inspired by the beach, this project was inspired by the existing landscaping that was there. The client’s home sits on a pretty property with lots of trees and wooded areas. As we were designing, we envisioned a warm, inviting folklore inspired home. Our client wanted to keep the space light and airy to utilize the natural light.. Plants were the natural backdrop for the space, along with lots of vintage pieces flowing throughout the home.

We painted the walls a warm white and the trim with a subtle grey tone. The kitchen needed a little bit of sprucing up, so we gave it a cosmetic makeover with painting the cabinets, adding new hardware and lighting along with a new backsplash. For the rest of the home, we furnished the space with family, function and comfort in mind.
