WHY YOU SHOULD BE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCAL BOSTON SHOP
As a small business owner myself, I do my best to support other small businesses, as well. Why not give back to the same people who support your own business?!
Living in Boston, we are blessed with a multitude of small owned businesses. Around every neighborhood, there are mom and pop shops all around. One of the newest developments of the city, Seaport, is boasting with new stores, restaurants and hotels. For Now, is a new store that opened just a few months ago and they are killing it!
"Playing matchmaker between brands and people"
I absolutely love the concept behind It's For Now, and I can't believe that there are not more people out there doing it! The rotate new local small business makers every few months to keep their items in the store. All of their information like when they opened and what makes them unique, is included on a card.
It's fun going into the store, and new things are there all the time! It's a great way for me, as a designer, to be able to find new products and vendors to shop from, as well.
When I was there, there was FRSH florals, an amazing floral arrangement maker. What I love about her flowers, are that they come with some fun planters too!
Another amazing maker is Siizu, who makes amazing metal jewelry. I actually bought a pair of their earrings, and wore them to my engagement shoot a couple weeks ago, too!
Between apparel, home decor, jewelry, shoes, artisan treats, there's something there for everyone.
Not to mention, they are always having events at the shop including yoga, and yappy hour where you bring your dog into the store (dream come true!).
So, if you're in the Seaport area, go check them out!
