Memorial Day weekend, I'm sitting outside with an iced coffee in hand (TYP New Englander am I right?) It's literally just the most perfect day and I'm so glad that we finally have some nice weather!
Today I want to talk about one of my favorite designers are from Salt Lake City. I'm sure you can guess, Studio McGee! I love their simple and cozy style. Their pieces are timeless and they just always seem to exclaim style, comfort and sophistication. I figured this week I would share some of my favorites from their shop! The Ruthie dining chair is seriously just perfect. I've used it in past projects and I love how versatile it is! It has a classic style to it, but it works in both modern and traditional spaces. One of my favorite things to source from McGee + Co is their ceramics. They always have the best vases to style bookcases and consoles with. I'm a big fan of terra-cotta and organically handmade vases and planters. Even though theirs aren't one offs, they look so unique, which I really appreciate.
Another thing that I love from McGee + Co is their artwork. I haven't gotten too many pieces from here, but the ones that I have are stunning. They have such great quality frames, they are worth the investment. Their colors are subtle and fit in with most designs. They are a great backdrop and add that extra something that spaces need. The last obsession that I have with McGee is their rugs! They have an incredible collection of rugs! From vintage to Beni rugs, I just love them all. They have such a wide range of prices, too, which is great for all budgets.
