Last week I was on the hunt for bookcase decor for one of my clients and I thought that I should do a roundup of some items for this week's blog post. Bookcase decor and styling can be really tough. There are so many different ways that you can go about it, and where to start?
The biggest thing with bookcase decor is size and scale. You want to vary the sizes of pieces to keep it interesting. Take tall pieces and mix them with shorter and smaller ones. You also want to mix up different materials, (metal, wood, glass).
I want to note that it takes time to style a bookcase, and thats okay! You may have to make a few trips to the store, to return items that don't work and purchase ones that you think will. It's all about getting it just right, so don't worry if you need a few times to figure it out.
